Reserved Matters Application - March

In March 2020, Barratt David Wilson Homes submitted a new Reserved Matters application (20/00886/APP) seeking to make small amendments to the consented scheme. By making these minor revisions to the approved scheme it is possible to deliver closer to the 400-home allocation without adverse impact. These extra homes are delivered by:

  • Replacing an Alderney house type with a Morseby & Folkestone on plots 55 & 56
  • Inserting a Tamerton house type between plots 165 & 167
  • Moving a Buchanan unit to plot 178, replacing a Tamerton house type, which has enabled space for two Folkestone units on plots 190-191.
  • Replacing Alnmouth and Oxford types with Morseby/Folkestone types and Norbury's fronting Street 02, with plots 192-194 & 202-204 being amended to accommodate this
  • Plots 257-269 have been revised, removing large 4 bed types, such as the Tamerton and Lamberton types and replacing them with smaller 3 bed units such as the Norbury type

Where these new homes will be can be seen on the map above, highlighted in yellow. There have also be several small changes to landscaping, in order to accommodate these changes.
